preserve single player

i wanted to suggest that you keep the single player mode a separate entity from the multiplayer parts of vaulderie. i'm not sure how many different formats of multiplayer you were planning on implementing. from the UI concepts i've seen your typical multiplayer styles like deathmatch, but from reading other updates it also sounds like you want to make the game play like an mmo.

i ask because as a speedrunner i would like the opportunity to run bloodlines on a new engine. i'm sure you all know how broken bloodlines is - it would be cool to run the game on a stable engine with a new route, quirks, and possibly new glitches or exploits. then again, if your goal was to create an mmo within the bloodlines story, then running the game might not be all that viable. it really depends on the direction you want to take it.

i'm stoked to see how far this project goes.

yes, it would be interesting if the game also kept it's single player form with some improvements of course and maybe the ability for Co oP in several areas where the game is clearly more hack and slash like the mission for larry, the sewers towards the Nosferatu Hideout, the Society of Leopold or the Hallowbrook hotel (of course raising the difficulty of those areas as well depending on how many ppl are on your group)

And of course maybe after your encounter with the Tsimisce in the hollywood house he would leave you with an invitation to join him at the Hallowbrook hotel where he can offer a questline that could open a Sabbat ending that would offer you the choice not to destroy the sabbat when the prince ask but plot with the tsimisci to trick LaCroix into thinking you did it and later be an option for the cab to take you to him. Depending of course on your clan (i can't see him being so friendly with a Tremere as to make such offer) and your character will only be able to initiate the dialogue in order for him to make the invitation to join him if he has humanity of 3 or less.
